DIY Swirled Wine Glasses

Other Supplies:

• Stemless Wine Glass
• Protective Gloves
• Mixing Tray or Palette
• Paper Towels or Cloth

Instructions:

Preparation:

1. Clean your wine glass with alcohol to get rid of any grease or residue.
2. Make sure the glass is completely dry before you start painting.

Color Selection:

3. Use Opaque Purple and Opaque Magenta.

Painting Technique:

4. Pour a small amount of opaque purple paint onto your mixing tray.
5. Add a few drops of opaque magenta and gently swirl them together with a brush to create a marbled effect.
6. Using the Mop ¼” or ¾” brush from the FolkArt Glass Brush Set, apply the swirled paint mixture to the outside of the wine glass in a swirling motion.

Drying:

7. Let the paint dry completely. For a more durable finish, cure the painted glass in an oven according to the kit’s instructions.

Finishing Touches:

8. Once cured, your swirled wine glass is ready to dazzle at your next gathering. It's permanent and dishwasher safe, so sip away!
