Other Supplies:
· Stemless Wine Glasses
· Mixing Tray or Palette
· Paper Towels or Cloth
· Painters tape
Instructions:
- Clean your wine glass with alcohol to get rid of any grease or residue.
- Make sure the glass is completely dry before you start painting.
- Tape off top of glass to create a clean finished line.
Color Selection:
- Use Metallic Gold and Metallic Silver
Painting Technique:
- Pour a small amount of opaque purple paint onto your mixing tray.
- Add a few drops of opaque magenta and gently swirl them together with a brush to create a marbled effect.
- Using the Mop ¼” or ¾” brush from the FolkArt Glass Brush Set, apply the swirled paint mixture to the outside of the wine glass in a swirling motion.
Drying:
- Let the paint dry completely.
- Carefully remove tape.
- For a more durable finish, cure the painted glass in an oven according to the kit’s instructions.
- Finishing Touches:
- Once cured, your swirled wine glass is ready to dazzle at your next gathering. It's permanent and dishwasher safe, so sip away!
