Place the lid upside down on the back-side of the fabric. Trim around the box lid leaving 3” extra on each side.
Apply Fabric Mod Podge to the top and sides of the box lid, place the lid on the center of the fabric. (fabric should be wrong-side up) On the top, smooth with your fingers to remove any wrinkles. In the corners, wrap them like a gift box or a mitered corner. Use more Mod Podge when needed. Apply Mod Podge to the inside lip/edge of the box. Wrap the sidepieces to the inside of the box. Press to secure and allow to dry.
Hot glue trim to the front or around the lid of the box.
