Other Things You'll Need

  • 3 styrofoam shapes (15" cone; 14" cone; 10" x 2" disc; 1 small star)
  • 1 pkg. white cheese cloth
  • 1/4" blue ribbon
  • 18x8 mm navette faceted jewels
  • 2 sprigs holiday silver glitter decorations
  • 24" of sliver braid trim
  • 1/4" wide
  • Silver glitter
  • Craft glue
  • Plastic wrap
  • Flat paint brush
  • 1 large plastic zip lock bag

Instructions

  1. Paint large cone and round disc Metallic Blue Pearl. Let dry.
  2. When dry wrap both cones in plastic wrap.
  3. Pour Stiffy into zip lock bag. Be sure to shake bottle well.
  4. Cut two pieces of cheese cloth.
  5. One at a time place into bag and squeeze out excess, arrange over covered cone and adjust. Refer to photo.
  6. Let dry over night.
  7. Take the smaller cone off and put over the large one.
  8. Take the smaller cone off and put over the large one.
  9. Glue jewels and decorations around randomly. Refer to photo.
  10. Cut five pieces of blue ribbon and glue to top of cone and twist and glue to bottom edge of top tree.
  11. Glue silver braid around the disc.
  12. Glue cone to disc and let dry.
  13. Coat star with craft glue and sprinkle with glitter. Let dry, then glue to top.
