Faux Wood Grain Desk with FolkArt Home Decor Chalk Paint

Instructions:

1. Paint the base of your desk with Frosted Leaves and let dry.

2. Once dry, sanding the edges and corners of your desk with the sanding block to create a distressed look.

3. Paint the top of the desk with Bavarian and let dry.

4. Mix a 2:1 ratio of Floating Medium and Mellow Mocha Chalk Paint. Brush this mixture onto the top of the desk, over the Bavarian coat.

5. While the mixture is still very wet, drag the Woodgrainer over the paint mixture, rocking back and forth. Work in sections so the mixture is very wet for each “stripe”. Let dry.
