Floral Fabric Accents on Terra Cotta Pots

Instructions

1. Paint top edge of your terra cotta pot if desired. Let dry.
2. Wash and dry scrap piece of fabric
3. Place fabric onto terra cotta pot as shown and trace lightly with pencil to create a pattern. Cut out around pattern ½” larger all the way around.
4. Place fabric onto wax paper and apply thin coat of Mod Podge around edges only. * Tip- about 1” all the way around over pattern lines.  Let dry.  Then cut out on pattern line. (Cutting fabric that is lightly coated with Mod Podge keeps the fabric from fraying.)
5. Apply thin coat of Mod Podge to back of fabric and smooth onto terra cotta pot. Let dry.
6. Mix 1 part water to 2 parts paint and splatter over fabric and pot. Let dry.
