FolkArt Enamel Striped Mugs

Instructions

1. Clean the mugs with warm soap and water and let dry.
2. Using FolkArt stencil tape, mask off the top 1" of each mug.
3. Using a flat brush, basecoat below the tape on two of the mugs with Cobalt Hue and Vibrant Orange.  
4. Using a craft knife, cut several strips of stencil tape in half.
5. Use the cut strips of tape to tape off vertical segments on the last mug. See project photo for reference.
6. Paint in between the tape segments with Cobalt Hue, Vibrant Orange and Classic Mint Green. Allow the paint to dry and score th edge of the tape using a craft knife before removing.
7. On the Cobalt Hue mug, use a small flat brush to paint different lengthed vertical stripes using Classic Mint Green. See project photo for reference.
8. On the Vivid Orange mug, use a smallflat brush top paintdifferent lengthed vertical stripes using Cobalt Hue. See project photo for reference.
9. Allow the paint to dry and score th edge of the tape using a craft knife before removing.
