Add a rustic touch to your fall decor with these farmhouse-inspired floral pumpkin designs. These pumpkins are the perfect decor piece to keep up all season long. Easy to paint and beautiful to display!
Instructions
- Basecoat all pumpkins with Black and let dry.
- For rest of project use dry brush strokes (very little paint and no water) so you never completely cover the black basecoat. A touch of white to all colors for highlights and texture.
- Large Pumpkin- with pencil apply patterns if that is more comfortable. Paint large circles with loose strokes using white and wheat. Repeat around pumpkin. Paint daisy centers with Barcelona Beige and a touch of white. Add petals with mustard and white as shown. Add leaves as shown with green and a bit of white. Layer more strokes as needed to create desired look. Fill in background last with cascade and white. Apply random loose strokes to create the distressed background.
- Medium Pumpkin- repeat techniques listed above with cascade flowers and a White and Wheat background.
- Small Pumpkin- Paint small white leaves and stems and create background with Mustard.
