Instructions
- Clean the decorative mirror with isopropyl alcohol to remove any oils from the surface.
- Using stencil tape, mask off the mirror portion. Using a 1” flat brush, basecoat the frame of the mirror in gold. Let dry.
- Apply silver to a clean, dry, 1” flat brush, then wipe most of the paint off onto a paper towel. Use this brush to paint on top of the gold frame. This is called a “dry brush” technique. Continue doing this, adding more paint to your brush as needed, until you have achieved the desired dimension. Let dry.
- Using the medium lettering brush, paint the words “Merry and Bright” onto the mirror.
- Tip: Practice on paper before painting directly onto the glass. Let dry.
