Glow-In-The-Dark Color Block Flower Pots & Leopard Print Rocks

Level up your decor game with glow-in-the-dark color block flower pots and leopard print rocks using FolkArt paints. Get that Insta-worthy glow!

Other Supplies

·        Terra cotta flower pots

·        Painter's tape

·        Paintbrushes (various sizes)

·        Palette or disposable plate for mixing paints

·        Water cup for rinsing brushes

·        Paper towels

Instructions:

Flower Pots

1.    Use painter's tape to section off areas of the flower pot where you want different colors

2.    Pour a small amount of each Glow-in-the-Dark paint color onto your palette.

3.    Using a paintbrush, start applying the paint to your taped off sections

4.    Apply multiple layers of paint to achieve a more vibrant glow. Allow each layer to dry completely before applying the next one.  Move tape to paint other sections.

5.    Use a small paintbrush to add simple black designs on the pots.

 

Rocks

6.    Wash the rocks and let them dry completely to remove any dirt or debris.

7.    Apply a base coat of Glow-In-the-Dark paint to each rock

8.    Decide on the leopard print pattern you want to create. You can sketch it out on paper first.

9.    Using a small paintbrush, start painting irregular spots on the rocks with Licorice paint. These will  your leopard spots.  See photo for placement.

Place the painted flower pots and rocks under direct sunlight or a bright indoor light to charge the glow-in-the-dark paint.
