Turn wooden numbers into a fun and unforgettable graduation party favor or guestbook!
Instructions
- If depicting the graduation year (ie. '2016'), paint (3) of the numbers with 2 coats of Granny Smith, Beetle Black, and Lake Fog individually. Use the flat tip of the brush to get the edges of the numbers.
- With the remaining number, paint the edges in Granny Smith, or the color of your choosing. Let dry.
- Now start to decoupage the photographs onto the surface of the number. First, apply Decoupage Medium to the wood surface (just about the size of the image), then to the back of the image. Lay the image down to the preferred position.
- Apply a thin layer of Decoupage over the images as you go along, repeating steps 2-3 per photo. You may use your Brush to release any air bubbles and get a flat image as you do this.
- Let the painted and decoupage numbers completely dry. Have your guests sign the painted numbers with a metallic pen!
