Other Things You'll Need

  • 2 Black Pillows
  • Black and White Buffalo Plaid fabric
  • 3 different black and white small print fabric
  • Orange fabric
  • Font Printout
  • Plain paper
  • Craft Knife
  • Pencil
  • Transfer Paper
  • Scissors
  • Sewing Machine
  • Black Thread

Instructions

  1.  Cut a piece of buffalo plaid fabric to fit inside the front of one of the pillows.  Cut another piece of orange fabric that will fit inside the buffalo plaid fabric.
  2. Find a font that you like and transfer the letters to the plain paper in the order you would like for them to appear on the pillow. 
  3. Cut out the letters with a craft knife and place in the center of the orange fabric.  Stencil the letters in Black.
  4. Sew the orange fabric to the buffalo plaid and then the buffalo plaid to the pillow.
  5. For the bat pillow, find an image online for a bat pattern.  Apply the Fabric Mod Podge to the back of the 3 small black and white printed fabric.  Once dry place the bats on the back of the fabric and trace.  Cut out the bats and use the Fabric Mod Podge to adhere them to the pillow.
