Instructions
- Outer edge of tag – Basecoat the outer edge Pure Orange. Paint a small checkerboard by layering a brush width of Licorice over the Pure Orange.
- Background (around cat) – Paint a slip slap effect of Wicker White and Lime Green. Allow to dry and transfer pattern lines.
- Cat’s Body – Paint body and head of cat Licorice. Highlight edges of body and legs with a mix of Wicker White and Licorice to create a medium gray. Paint stripes on cat’s tail with this medium gray mix. The tip of the tail is Wicker White.
- Cat’s Eyes – Paint eye shape Moon Yellow. Shade outer edges with Pure Orange. Add a triangle of Licorice in the center as an iris. Add details of Wicker White on either side of the Licorice triangle and create three eyelashes above each eye.
- Cat’s Nose – Paint the triangle nose Lime Green. Paint a Wicker White line from the top corners of the triangle nose upwards and arching over the eyes to create the bridge of the nose. Add three tiny Wicker White dots across the top of the nose.
- Cat’s Mouth – Paint a Wicker White mouth. Add Licorice lines to define the cat’s teeth. The lips are painted Pure Orange.
- Cat’s Cheeks – The checks are painted as a blush of Pure Orange. Add Wicker White whisker dots and three fine whiskers on both sides of the face.
- Cat’s Ears – The interior of the ear is painted Pure Orange and then add Wicker White stroke work on the Pure Orange.
- Cat’s Hat – Paint the hat with horizontal stripes of Violet Pansy and Licorice. Add a Lime Green zig zag trim at the base of the hat. Paint a Pure Orange pom pom at the top of the hat.
- Cat’s Collar – The collar is painted Pure Orange. Highlight with Moon Yellow. Add a tiny Wicker White dot trim at the edge of the ruffled collar. Paint a Violet Pansy heart charm hanging from the collar using Wicker White dots to connect the two.
- Lettering and Trim – The lettering “happy Halloween” and the dot-dash-dot border s painted using thinned Licorice.
