Instructions
Get the supplies you need to make this project from your local Michaels!
- Clean surface of glass with rubbing alcohol.
- Cut a 2” wide strip from the red “the children were nestled” paper.
- Apply Mod Podge to back of strip and center the strip on the jar – smooth in place.
- Cut out the 3 ornaments and strings. Apply Mod Podge to back of ornaments and place on jar as shown. Smooth in place. Let dry.
- Use masking tape to outline the strip and ornaments, placing tape 1/4” away from edges.
- Apply Mod Podge to surface of design up to the masking tape.
- Dry 1-2 hours and add 2-3 coats.
- Remove tape. You can use a craft knife to cut around the tape edges to get a clean straight line before pulling off the tape.
- Cut out a 2” circle and Mod Podge to Lid as shown.
