Instructions

Get the supplies you need to make this project from your local Michaels!

  1. Clean surface of glass with rubbing alcohol.
  2. Cut a 2” wide strip from the red “the children were nestled” paper.
  3. Apply Mod Podge to back of strip and center the strip on the jar – smooth in place.
  4. Cut out the 3 ornaments and strings. Apply Mod Podge to back of ornaments and place on jar as shown. Smooth in place. Let dry.
  5. Use masking tape to outline the strip and ornaments, placing tape 1/4” away from edges.
  6. Apply Mod Podge to surface of design up to the masking tape.
  7. Dry 1-2 hours and add 2-3 coats.
  8. Remove tape. You can use a craft knife to cut around the tape edges to get a clean straight line before pulling off the tape.
  9. Cut out a 2” circle and Mod Podge to Lid as shown.
