Jeans with Floral Fabric Accents
Add a touch of flair to a basic pair of jeans with Mod Podge and FolkArt! Create your own unique style by applying scraps of fabric to your jeans for a funky and fun pair of pants.

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry scrap fabric and jeans.
  2. Place fabric onto jeans as shown and cut into irregular shapes and patches and trace lightly with pencil to create a pattern. Cut out around pattern ½” larger all the way around. Loosely cut around desired floral sections of fabric.
  3. Place fabric patches onto wax paper and apply thin coat of Fabric Mod Podge around edges only. * Tip- about 1” all the way around over pattern lines.  Let dry.  Then cut out on pattern line. (Cutting fabric that is lightly coated with Mod Podge keeps the fabric from fraying.)
  4. Apply thin coat of Mod Podge to back of fabric and smooth onto jeans as shown. Let dry.
  5. Using small liner brush accent fabric areas with stitch marks and stems and leaves as shown. Let dry.
  6. Heat set with warm iron.
