Jewel-Toned Pumpkins & Creatures
Create a stunning color story on your mantel or dining table with these beautiful colors and finishes for an eerie addition to your Halloween decor. Cover plastic spiders and snakes with color to elevate the spookiness of your display!

Other Things You'll Need

  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Silicon mat or wax paper
  • 5 Pumpkins Assorted sizes
  • Plastic toy spiders and snake
  • 2 wood boxes and succulents
  • Stencil tape

Instructions

  1. PUMPKINS- Basecoat all pumpkins in colors shown in photo.  Let dry.
  2. Snake pumpkin- Using hot glue, attach snake to pumpkin as shown and apply second coat, completely covering pumpkin and snake with Fuchsia.  Let dry.  Apply second coat if needed.
  3. Add accents to pumpkins as shown with strokes of color.  Let dry.
  4. Planters- tape off bottom and paint top with Gold.  Let dry and remove tape.  Create ombre by painting top of box with Fuchsia and bottom with Berry Wine, blend together where colors meet in the middle and let dry. 
  5. Paint plastic spiders as shown, let dry.
  6. WEBS- using the hot glue, simply squeeze glue onto mat or wax paper in simple spider web patterns.  Let glue cool and harden and paint as shown. 
  7. Attach webs and spiders as shown with hot glue.
