Jeweled Lace Crowns

Instructions

  1. Cut a piece of lace large enough to fit around your head with an extra 1-2.” Set aside.
  2. Pour enough Mod Pidge Ultra Matte into a disposable bowl so that the lace pieces can be submerged.
  3. Pour 1-2 squeezes of Magenta into the Mod Podge Ultra and combine thoroughly using a craft stick.
  4. Submerge the lace piece into the mixture, massaging the lace so that it becomes completely saturated.
  5. Remove the lace from the mixture and lay it flat onto a piece of wax paper to dry.
  6. When the lace is dry, spray a generous coat of Mod Podge Ultra Matte onto the lace following the directions on the bottle. Let dry.
  7. Remove the lace from the wax paper and glue the ends together using tacky glue to create a crown shape. Apply flat-backed gems to the crown using tacky glue.
  8. Spray the crown again with a generous coat of Mod Podge Ultra Matte to reinforce the tacky glue. Let dry.
