Instructions

1. Cut your fabric into 5 strips. Two larger and wider strips for the bow. Two less wide, but long strips to hang down as the tails of the bow. And cut one small piece to wrap around the middle creating the center of the bow.

2. Set aside the two pieces of fabric for the tails so that you can shape it to your basket later.

3. Lay out a large space of palette paper or cling wrap for the fabric to lay and dry. Dip your three strips in Stiffy, (the two strips for the bow and the one strip for the center).

4. Reference the Mod Podge Stiffy bottle for instructions to properly apply it. Lay out the strips to dry on your cling wrap or palette paper, maybe 15-30 minutes. Watch carefully not to have the Stiffy fully dry, but to dry just enough to be able to form the fabric strips into a bow. It should stand on its own and you can leave to fully dry.

5. While that fully dries, you can dip the last two strips in the Mod Podge Stiffy to create the tails of your bow. Repeat the same steps from before to lay on the cling wrap or palette paper to start to dry.

6. Once you feel the fabric start to stiffen, you can begin to wrap it around the basket or form that you’ll be attaching the final bow to for the tails to match the form.

7. Once it fully dries in the way you want, then you can hot glue the bow and tails to the basket and to each other.
