Mason Jar Party Glasses: Upcycle with Murano Paints and Monogram Stencils

Turn basic mason jars into the ultimate party glasses with a splash of color and personalized style! Using Murano Transparent, Opaque, and Iridescent paints, these DIY glasses are perfect for any gathering. Add a personal touch with monogram letters using Script adhesive stencils. Whether you're hosting a chill hangout or a lively bash, these glasses will be the talk of the party!

Other Supplies

  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Paper towels
  • Paint pallet or disposable plate

 

 

Instructions

  1. Thoroughly clean the mason jars with alcohol to remove any dust or oils. 
  2. Apply the Transparent Color to the outside of the each jar. Tap the jars on a soft surface (i.e. craft foam or a towel) to help the paint move down the bottle evenly. Add more paint as needed until the jar is covered. Let dry.
  3. Using the picture as a guide, place the adhesive stencils on each jar.
  4. Use a Pouncer to apply a coordinating Opaque or Iridescent Paint to the stencil.
  5. Air dry the painted canisters for 48 hours.
  6. Place the jars in a cool oven, heat to 350°F, and bake for 30 minutes. Allow them to cool in the oven to room temperature.
