Mod Podge Resin Black & White Poured Tray and Accent Pieces

  • Gloves
  • Wipes
  • Plastic cups
  • Craft sticks
  • Thumb tacks
  • Disposable baking pan
  • Craft knife
  • Respirator
  • Silver Glitter
  • Gray, Black and white floral scrapbook paper
  • Small Trinket Tray
  • Black Lace Scraps
  • Silicone mat to protect the surface
  • Small torch
  • Mason Jar
     

 

Instructions

Poured Tray
  1.  Pour your Titanium White and Pure Black pouring mixtures into a disposable baking pan and tilt/swirl until you reach your desired pattern. Let this sit until totally dry.
  2.  Remove the paint skin from the pan and measure and cut to the size of the serving tray.
  3. Paint your serving tray in Pure Black and let dry.
  4. Adhere your paint skin to your serving tray with Mod Podge.
  5. Brush Mod Podge onto one corner of the tray and add silver glitter.
  6. Cut out flowers and other elements.  Apply Mod Podge to the back and arranged as shown in photo.
  7. Mix the Mod Podge Resin according to the instructions on plaidonline.com/ModPodgeResin.
  8. Pour into tray and remove any bubbles with the torch.  Allow 24 hours to dry.

Lace Trinket Tray
  1. Cut out a piece of the lace to fit into the tray.
  2. Mix the Mod Podge Resin according to the instructions on plaidonline.com/ModPodgeResin.
  3. Pour resin into the tray.  Place the lace on top of the resin and push down.
  4. Allow to dry overnight.

Mason Jars
  1. Cut out elements and brush Mod Podge onto the back of the paper.
  2. Refer to photo for placement.
  3.  Mix the Mod Podge Resin according to the instructions on plaidonline.com/ModPodgeResin.
  4. Mix a few drops of black ink to the resin.
  5. Pour resin into the jar and swirl.  Allow to dry.
