Commemorate your family tree with this unique decorative wall plaque using Mod Podge Resin! Make and give as a gift or decorate your space with precious photos of your family.
Instructions
- Paint the recessed part of your surface with Mossy Meadow. Part the raised part of your surface with Vintage White and let dry.
- Apply a very small amount of Wrought Iron to your wood block. Drag the block over the edges of your surface. Apply this technique to areas where you want your surface to look distressed.
- Hand letter a personal name, year, heart and/or quote on your surface with Wrought Iron and let dry.
- Draw circles or use a cup or lid to trace circles on your surface. Fill in the circles with Treasure Gold and let dry.
- Draw smaller circles/trace circles to use to cut your family photos out into circle shapes. Mod Podge your photos over your Treasure Gold circles and let dry.
- Go to Plaidonline.com/modpodgeresin for instructions on how to mix resin.
- Tape off the back of your wood surface and pour your resin onto your surface.
- Use the torch to remove any bubbles.
- Allow to dry for 24 hours.
