Take your snow village to the next level by creating your own! Use rich, textured colors from the FolkArt Terra Cotta line to give your mantel an elegant touch. Add fun patterns and shapes to each house and tree to color coordinate with your holiday decor!
Instructions
Paper Mache Houses:- Basecoat all houses in FolkArt Terra Cotta colors shown in photo. Let dry between coats.
- Using large flat brush apply FolkArt Terra Cotta in Snowbank to roof of house in a thicker application to resemble snow. Let dry.
- Using transfer paper and pencil add patterns to each house as shown. Paint seasonal details with small brush and Snowbank. Let dry.
House Boxes and Cone Trees:
- Basecoat all houses as shown in photos; Glossy Brilliant White interiors and FolkArt Terra Cotta exteriors in shades shown. Let dry.
- Basecoat cone trees in Glossy Brilliant White and Onyx.
- Cut out basic tree shape from pattern paper and apply to house with Mod Podge. Let dry.
- Using small brush add brushstroke patterns and details to trees as shown in Glossy black in white contrasting colors. Let dry.
