Modern Striped Canvas
Make simple wall art from fabric to coordinate with any room.

Instructions

1. Paint the canvas with one coat of Seamist paint. Allow to dry.

2. Tear the fabric into strips of varying widths. The strips should be longer than the canvas so you can wrap them around the back for a clean finish. Dip each strip into Matte Mod Podge, apply to the canvas leaving a little space in between each one. Press the strips with your fingers to smooth them and to press out any air bubbles. Wrap the ends around the sides and back of the canvas. Secure with Mod Podge.

3. Add yarn by wrapping around the canvas and tying in the back to secure. Continue wrapping the yarn around the canvas, filling in the sections in between the fabric strips. Apply Mod Podge to the yarn to secure and to add texture.
