Murano Bottles and Candleholders

Instructions

  1. Apply paints to the bottles straight from the paint bottle.  Refer to photo for colors. Tap the bottles lightly onto the foam core.  This will cause the paint to begin to move down the bottles. Continue these steps until the bottles are completely covered.  Refer to the paint bottles for drying time.
  2. For the chandelier bulbs and the light bulb, tape off the treads.  Apply paints to the bulbs straight from the paint bottle.  Tap the bulbs lightly onto the foam cord to make the paint move downward.  Continue until the bulbs are completely covered.  Paint the chandelier bulbs to match the bottles.  Paint the light bulbs, Peri Purple.  Once dry remove the tape.  Refer to the paint bottle for drying time. Paint the treads of the light bulbs with Licorice.  Allow them to dry.  Paint Treasure Gold on top of the Licorice.
  3.  For the candleholders, apply the paint straight from the bottle. Lightly tap candleholders on the foam core to move the paint downward. Paint the candleholders Gold, Silver and Iridescent Black.
  4. Glue the light bulbs on top of the candle holders.
  5. Cut out bats from the scrapbook paper and glue them to the bottles and light bulbs. Refer to photo for placement.
