Add a touch of botanicals to a favorite container with this napkin decoupage DIY!
Instructions
- Open up your botanical patterned napkin and use scissors to cut around the plant shapes. Continue this until you have enough pieces the fill the surface area of the box.
- Remove the extra plies from the napkin pieces and discard.
- Lay your napkin pieces onto your box to get an idea of where you will place your pieces, then remove them.
- Using a brush, apply some Mod Podge Matte onto the box where you want your first napkin piece to go. Lay the napkin onto the Mod Podge and use the same brush to smooth it into place. Continue this process until you have filled the empty spaces with napkins.
- When the napkins are completely dry to the touch, use a fine-grained sand paper to lightly sand the napkins. This will cause the images to “disappear” into the wood.
