Neon Floral Table
Take a plain, white table and turn it into something special with the addition of floral appliques.

Instructions

  1. You’ll want to choose a fabric that has a design that you can easily cut out. My body pillow cover had a floral design in it that was perfectly sized for a small table.
  2. Prepare the fabric by washing and drying. Cut the pillow cover so that it is one single layer of fabric (as opposed to double thickness) and place on a non-stick surface (wax paper is recommended).
  3. Paint a thin layer of Mod Podge over the fabric, covering several of the designs, and let dry.
  4. Trim out at least three designs from the fabric. Set aside.
  5. Sand the top of your tabletop (if required) and wipe away dust with the tack cloth.
  6. Decide on your design for your fabric. See the image for a suggestion. I slightly layered the flowers that I cut out.
  7. Mod Podge the design down to the tabletop. Let dry for 15 – 20 minutes.
  8. Put a coat of Mod Podge over the entire top of the table and let dry. Put a second coat on a let dry.
  9. To make the table waterproof, you’ll need to coat the top with a clear waterproof sealer (this is optional).
