Using a 2” brush, basecoat the round planter in White. Let dry.
Place the round planter on a lazy Susan.
Using a 2” brush, paint the bottom of the planter in Turquoise, spinning the planter to achieve an even coat.
Using a different 2” brush, while the Turquoise is still wet, paint the top of the planter in White and continue down, blending the White into the Turquoise. Continue this process, blending the Turquoise up and the White down, while spinning the lazy Susan until you achieve a smooth “ombre’d” effect. Let dry.
Using a clean 2” brush, basecoat the wood round in White. Let dry.
Place the round Bohemian stencil (see project photo for reference) in the center of the wood round. Use stencil tape to hold the stencil in place.
Using a 1” stencil brush, stencil the pattern in Turquoise. Let dry.
Apply E6000 to the rim of the planter. Place the wood round centered on the planter. Let dry overnight.
