Give your outdoor space a little extra decor with this crafty bird art piece. Craft with stencils and Mod Podge Outdoor for summertime patio art that adds character to your next garden party.
Tape the stencil to the center of the wood plaque. Dip your stencil paintbrush into the Turquoise paint and tap off the excess paint. Working in a up-and-down fashion, paint the bird area of the stencil. Paint some areas heavier than others. Repeat this process with the Bark Brown paint and the branch portion of the stencil. Allow to dry.
Cut small leaves and a wing shape from scrapbook paper. Coat the backs of the papers with Outdoor Mod Podge, position on the plaque, press with your finger, top-coat with more Mod Podge. Coat the entire plaque with Mod Podge. Allow to dry for 48 hours.
Tip: Add a family name by attaching painted wood letters to the plaque.
