Other Supplies:
-
Dry toner printed dog photo
-
White cotton fabric
-
Patterned fabric
-
Painter’s tape
-
Scissors
-
3” Embroidery hoop
Instructions:
- Use painter’s tape and Folkart paint to create a color-blocked design on the frame and let dry.
- Brush the Mod Podge Photo Transfer onto the printed side of your dry toner printed photo. Brush enough Mod Podge Photo Transfer so that it’s opaque and you can barely see the print. Place the print, print side down, onto your cotton fabric. Allow to dry fully.
- Once the formula is dry, flip the photo over to the white, non-printed side. Completely dampen the paper with water. Gently move your finger or a soft sponge in small circles to remove the excess paper from the print. Let dry.
- Repeat the previous step until all that’s left is the ink—no paper.
- Cut out the photo transferred dog. Use Mod Podge Fabric to adhere the dog to the patterned fabric. Place the fabric into the embroidery hoop.
