Other Things You'll Need

  • PaperBoard Owl (available at most Michaels stores)
  • Flat paintbrush
  • Canvas
  • Wooden letters
  • Scrapbook paper
  • Scissors

Instructions

  1. Paint canvas edges with Coffee Latte and wooden letters with Licorice.
  2. Brush Mod Podge on canvas; attach scrapbook paper.
  3. Seal with another coat of Mod Podge.
  4. Trace owl body, stomach and eyes onto scrapbook papers.
  5. Use Mod Podge to attach cutouts to shapes.
  6. Paint circles of Wicker White and Licorice for eyes; paint feet and beak with Moon Yellow.
  7. Seal all paper-covered shapes with another coat of Mod Podge.
  8. Assemble owl on plaque.
  9. Use Mod Podge to adhere letters to plaque.
