Your Easter display will be elevated with the addition of these patterned stuffed carrots. The Easter Bunny is sure to stop by your house with these adorable fabric painted carrots - perfect for your spring tiered tray!
Instructions
- Cut out cone for carrot from fabric using the pattern provided. It may need to be enlarged or decreased in size.
- Add Sunset Prairie dots to the first piece of fabric using the ½” spouncer.
- Tape off ½” vertical stripes on the second piece a fabric. Using the stencil brush paint with Sunset Prairie. Allow to dry.
- Tape off ½” horizontal stripes. Paint these stripes Sunset Prairie.
- Go back and paint over all intersections of stripes with Pure Orange.
- Once completely dry, fold with right sides together and glue the edges with Craft glue. Allow the glue to dry completely and then turn right side out.
- Stuff the carrots with polyfil.
- Place the wooden circle on top of the stuffing inside the carrot and fold the top edge of the fabric onto the circle. Glue into place with hot glue.
- Wrap the twine around you fingers several times. Pull twine off your fingers. There should now be several loops. Tie a piece of twine in the center of all loops. Tie into a knot.
- Cut all the looped ends.
- Glue the twine to the center of the top of the carrot with hot glue.
