Other Things You'll Need

  • 2 small wooden teardrops
  • 2 1 ¾" wood stars
  • 2 1/4'" wood star
  • 6" x 5" wood rectangle
  • 1" x 12" wood stake
  • Foam plate for paints
  • 1" paintbrush
  • 1/2" flat paintbrush
  • Round #4 paintbrush
  • ¼" Spouncer
  • Scissors
  • E6000 permanent bond adhesive for outdoor use

Instructions

  1. Preparation: Remove all labels from surfaces before painting.
  2. Use Emerald Green to paint stake and teardrop shapes; paint sides and back of rectangle. Let dry.
  3. Use Warm White to paint front of rectangle; let dry.
  4. Use Spouncer dipped into Silver Sterling to paint dot pattern over front of rectangle; let dry.
  5. Refer to photo to stack small stars over large star, with points alternating on each layer added. Glue stars together at center with small dot of glue.
  6. Use Engine Red to paint poinsettia shape; let dry.
  7. Use end of paintbrush handle dipped into Silver Sterling to paint dots for flower centers on poinsettia; let dry.
  8. Refer to photo for placement and glue back of poinsettia shape to upper right of sign.
  9. Glue green teardrops for leaves at sides of poinsettia.
  10. Use round brush and Engine Red to paint words on front of sign; let dry.
  11. Use adhesive to attach stake to back center of rectangle sign.
