Decorate your patio with by taking a plain paper lantern and embellishing it with red, white, and blue. Make your outdoor space patriotic this summer for all your backyard barbecues.

Instructions

  1. Cut circle shapes from tissue paper.
  2. Open the paper lantern and attach the metal support.
  3. Apply Mod Podge Hard Coat to the lantern, place the tissue paper onto the lantern and gently top-coat with more Mod Podge. Allow to dry.
  4. Top-coat the entire lantern with Mod Podge Hard Coat and allow to dry.
  • TIP: Make Shapes! Cut various shapes from tissue paper to make a custom look. Flowers for summer or spiders for Halloween!
