Other Things You'll Need

  • Found Magnolia Leaves
  • Natural Wood Garland
  • Stencil tape
  • Hot glue
  • Small plastic cups
  • Popsicle sticks

Instructions

  1. Tape off leaves as shown. 
  2. Using double sided tape, tape all leaves to stretched canvas so that pouring is easy.
  3. Mix desired colors, follow directions on FolkArt Pouring Medium,
  4. Pour onto leaves and move canvas to mix and cover leaves. 
  5. Lay canvas flat and let leaves dry.
  6. Score edges of leaves and edge of tape with exacto knife and remove leaves from canvas and remove tape.
  7. Garland- Paint sections of wood balls as shown with desired colors.  Let dry.
  8. Paint over colors with Dragonfly Glaze to create iridescent finish.  Let dry.
  9. Using hot glue attach leaves to garland as shown.
