Take an old quilting hoop and put your own spin on the design. Press leaves in paint and stamped them for a unique forest theme.
Instructions
- Basecoat paper with Hunter Green and let dry. Apply a second coat and let dry.
- Protect your work surface with poster board. Paint natural branch with Treasure Gold applying a thick heavy coat.
- Place branch with wet paint onto poster board and place green paper face down onto branch.
- Lightly walk fingers over the back of the paper pressing down and allowing the gold branch design to transfer onto green basecoat. Flip over and let dry.
- Repeat above step for all branches. Let dry.
- Paint metal areas on hoops with Treasure Gold and let dry.
- Using hoops as a pattern cut out leaf prints to fit each hoop.
- Attach paper to hoops with hot glue as shown.
- Using hot glue, attach navy bows and natural branches as shown.
- Tie loop with gold ribbon for hanging.
