Shabby Paper Flowers Canvas
A unique way to create wall art using paper scraps.

Instructions

1. Paint the canvas with one coat of Seamist. Allow to dry. Paint a layer of crackle finish over the dried Seamist. Allow to dry thoroughly. Using Parchment paint, paint in one direction (work quickly) over the dried crackle finish. For best results, don’t paint over your brush strokes. As it dries, it will crackle. Allow to dry.

2. Paint Mod Podge over the textured fibers, arrange on the canvas so they look like organic flower stems. Top-coat the fibers with additional Mod Podge.

3. Add the paper circles to form the flowers. Begin with the largest circle first and work your way to the smallest circles. Apply Mod Podge to the backs of the circles and place over the ends of the fiber stems. Press to secure, leaving the edges a little loose from the canvas. This will create a tattered look.
