Other Things You'll Need

  • Large faux pumpkin
  • Sandpaper
  • Painters tape
  • 1" Flat brush
  • ½" Stencil brush
  • Soft cloth

Instructions

  1. Basecoat the pumpkin with Rich Black.
  2. Paint the next coat with Castle.
  3. With the painters tape create the vertical lines of the spider web and stencil with Rich Black.
  4. Tape off the connecting lines of the spider web and stencil with Rich Black.
  5. Lightly sand the pumpkin to remove some of the first layer of paint, to create a distressed look.
  6. Apply a small amount of wax to a cloth and rub on the pumpkin. Buff the wax when dry.
