Use sticks, wooden shapes, and Apple Barrel to create a charming kids’ dreamcatcher.
Instructions
- Hot glue the large sticks into a triangle and then the smaller sticks into a triangle. Paint stripes around the sticks in the variety of colors listed. Let dry.
- Wrap and tie each corner of the triangles in the green jute and also secure with a dot of hot glue.
- Cut approximately two yards of jute. Starting at the top of the larger triangle, wrap around and then wrap around the top of the smaller triangle. Continue to wrap the two triangles together letting the smaller one suspend inside the larger one. Knot and glue when finished.
- Paint the hearts and beads in a variety of colors. Let dry.
- Using the gray jute, string together seven strands of varying lengths of pom-poms, feathers, wooden beads and hearts. For the feathers, wrap around the end of the feather and secure with a little hot glue.
- Tie strands to the bottom stick of the triangle.
- Tie a jute loop at the top of the dream catcher to hang.
