Instructions:
1. Ensure the lamp is unplugged and remove the lampshade. Clean the lamp base thoroughly to remove any dust or grease. Make sure it is completely dry before starting.
2. Use painter's tape to cover any areas you don't want to paint, such as the cord, switch, or any decorative elements you want to keep unpainted.
3. Choose your color from the FolkArt Terra Cotta Sun-Baked Acrylic Paint Set. For this example, we'll use Cavern Moss. Using a medium-sized paintbrush, apply an even coat of Cavern Moss to the entire lamp base. Be sure to cover all areas thoroughly. Let the first coat dry completely.
4. Depending on the coverage, you may need to apply a second or even a third coat of paint. Allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next. This will ensure a smooth and even finish.
5. Once the paint is fully dry, carefully remove the painter's tape from the protected areas.
6. Reattach the lampshade and plug in your lamp. Place it in your desired location and enjoy your newly customized piece!
