Thanksgiving Party Tray with a Calico Paper Quilt
Add rustic, fall charm to your party tray with scrap paper and Mod Podge! Give your autumn decor character with a hand-crafted tray for your Thanksgiving feast. Whether you are serving drinks or dessert, this tray will be a hit this fall.

Instructions

1. Cut the scrapbook paper into squares.  You can cut them into random shapes and sizes or keep them the same.

2. Apply a coat of Mod Podge to the base of the tray, Apply a thin coat of Mod Podge to the back of a paper square.  Position the square on the tray and roll over it with the brayer.
 
3. Continue with all the squares until the base of the tray is covered.  Use the flat squeegee to help when applying the papers to the corners.  You can overlap the papers or line them straight up.  Brayer over the entire design.  Allow to dry for 15 minutes and then top with 3 layers of Mod Podge with dry time in between.

PROJECT TIP: This same idea can be made with fabric scraps!
