Your harvest decor will be elevated with this cute fall decor piece added to your home! Use Stiffy to create a textured bowl from a doily and FolkArt Extreme Glitter to add sparkle to a foam pumpkin.
1. Cover the outside of the soup can with tin foil and place on a protected work surface. Cover your surface with a plastic drop cloth if needed.
2. Soak the doily in Stiffy. Gently wring additional Stiffy from the doily. Place the doily over the tin can. Center so the edges are even. Allow to dry over night. Once dry, pull off the dried doily and remove any tin foil that may have stuck to the doily.
3. Paint the pumpkin with Autumn Leaves. Use two coats if necessary. Once dry, top coat with randomly applied Gold Extreme Glitter. Allow to dry.
4. Hot glue the pumpkin into the doily. Hot glue two felt leaves to the stem of the pumpkin.
PROJECT TIP: If glitter is not your thing, try other finish techniques like crackle finish or an antique wash.
