Use newsprint or other paper to wrap around pot to make a pattern for cutting the fabric. Use fingers to press against the bottom edge of pot and around lower rim. This will crease the paper. Using scissors, cut out along crease lines. Hold paper up to pot again to test for accuracy – trim where necessary.
Make a paper pattern of inside of saucer in the same way.
Cover work area with wax paper. Paint the wrong side of fabric with Fabric Mod Podge, using a generous, even coat. Lift wet fabric off of wax paper and hang to dry. Let dry completely.
Lay pattern onto fabric and position so the vertical center of the pattern is aligned with the grain. Trace around pattern and cut fabric. Trace circle pattern and cut out.
Paint inside of pot and saucer with Bright Green. Let paint continue over rim to first ridge. Paint bottom of pot with Bright Green. Let dry. Note: Use tape around rim where green colors change to help you keep the lines straight. Pull tape off while paint is wet, then let dry before proceeding with next color.
Paint center stripe on rim of pot with Yellow Citron. Paint bottom and sides of saucer with Yellow Citron. Let project dry.
Paint Fabric Mod Podge on sides of pot and apply fabric. Note: Start at the center of fabric and align under rim of pot. Rub fabric with fingers until all air bubbles are worked out and fabric lays flat against pot. Apply more Fabric Mod Podge as necessary until you have adhered the fabric all the way around. Trim where the edges overlap and rub the fabric flat, easing the fabric to join perfectly. Let dry.
Paint an even coat of Outdoor Mod Podge over entire project.
