Dress up a gift card for Teacher Appreciation Day with this fun flashcard idea.
Instructions
- Prep three wooden rectangles by sanding smooth. Paint with two coats of White. Let dry.
- Using the paint pen, write a Capital “S” and a lower case “s” in the upper left corner of the rectangle. In the bottom right corner print the word “Shop”. Let dry.
- Pour out a small amount of Red Flag and press your fingertip into the paint. Offload fingerprints on a paper towel to prevent smearing. Press your fingertip on the center of the rectangle horizontally to create a red fingerprint. Let dry.
- Using the paint pen, draw a simple shopping cart over the fingerprint. Refer to project image.
- Using the paint pen, write a Capital “C” and a lower case “C” in the upper left corner of the rectangle. In the bottom right corner print the word “Caffeine”. Let dry.
- Pour out a small amount of Christmas Green and press your fingertip into the paint. Offload fingerprints on a paper towel to prevent smearing. Press your fingertip on the center of the rectangle vertically to create a green fingerprint. Let dry.
- Using the paint pen, draw a simple coffee cup over the fingerprint. Refer to project image.
- Using the paint pen, write a Capital “F” and a lower case “f” in the upper left corner of the rectangle.
- In the bottom right corner print the word “Fun”. Let dry.
- Pour out a small amount of Petunia Purple and press your fingertip into the paint. Offload fingerprints on a paper towel to prevent smearing. Press your fingertip twice on the rectangle at an angle to create two fingerprints. Let dry.
- Using the paint pen, draw a simple musical note over the fingerprints. Refer to project image.
- Punch holes in the the gift cards on the side being careful not to punch out any important information!
- String all of the flashcards and gift cards together with a fun ribbon and knot.
