Keep your schedule handy with this fun, floral upcycled framed calendar. This is an easy project to create for a charming personalized touch to your work space. Use FolkArt Etching Cream to make our thrifted frame into a stylish calendar.
Instructions
- Remove the glass from the frame.
- Clean glass with the
- Paint the frame with Treasure Gold.
- Tape off seven ¼” stripes going horizonal. Make sure all the lines are equally spaced.
- Apply the etching cream following the instructions on the bottle.
- Tape off six ¼” stripes going vertical. Make sure all lines are equally spaced.
- Apply cream to glass.
- Cut the foamcore board to fit the frame.
- Paint the entire board with Fire Coral.
- Once dry tape off the top portion and the bottom portion and paint Navy. Refer to the photo for placement of color.
- Cut out flowers from the scrapbook paper and Mod Podge on the Navy portions of the board. Refer to photo for placement.
- When putting the frame back together make sure the etched side of glass is facing the board on the inside.
- Plan out your month using the dry erase markers on the glass.
