  • Pallet or planks of wood
  • Jigsaw
  • Pry bar
  • Screws
  • Drill
  • Drill bits
  • Screwdriver
  • Transfer paper
  • Tracing paper
  • Computer Printout
  • Ruler
  • Measuring Tape
  • Pencil
  • Sandpaper

Instructions

  1. If you are using an old pallet you will need to take a part before you begin using the pry bar.
  2. Remove any nails that may be still in wood.
  3. Remove the seat from the bench.
  4. Measure the bench to determine how long to cut your wood pieces.
  5. Cut wood to correct size and cut with the jigsaw.
  6. Screw the planks to the bench.
  7. Transfer the pattern to the bench.
  8. Paint the flowers with Cool Bisque and Fire Coral.
  9. Paint the leaves with Wicker White, Dove Gray and Autumn Leaves.
  10. Outline the flowers and leaves and then paint the rest of the leaves with Licorice using the liner brush.  Refer to the photo for color placement.
