Instructions

Using a stencil brush and Metallic Antique Copper paint, stencil the love inspired words across the wood heart.  Once dry, top coat with Extreme Glitter Gold.

2.  Use a pencil to trace 1/2 of the heart shape onto scrapbook paper. Apply a coat of Mod Podge to the heart shape and to the back of the paper.  Position onto the heart. Smooth with a brayer or your fingers so that you have no air bubbles.  Wait 15 min and then top coat with a layer of Mod Podge.  Allow to dry for 1 hour.

3. Tear the edges of the photo to create a tattered look.  Apply a thick coat of Photo Transfer to the image side of the photo, position onto the heart transfer side down.  Using your fingers from the center-out, smooth the paper.  Wipe any extra transfer medium from the edges.  Wait 24 hours.  Remove the paper and reveal the image by wiping the paper in a circular motion with a damp sponge. Don’t press to hard.

4. Make tag embellishments by painting the wood tag with Engine Red paint,  drybrush a tiny amount of Sequin Black paint to the hearts and splatter paint with Inca Gold paint.  Mod Podge a piece of scrapbook paper to the tag.

5. Hot glue the tag, trims, rhinestones and a flower to the wood heart.  Wrap a wreath base with yarn until the entire wreath is covered.  Using spare yarn, create a hanger for the heart to dangle in the center of the wreath by hot gluing two ends of braided yarn to the back of the heart.  Hot glue the other ends of the yarn to the wreath front and back.
