Other Supplies:

  • Wood Dowel
  • Gold Thread
  • Scissors
  • Drill (for making holes in the dowel)
  • Cutting Machine or craft knife

Instructions:

 

  1. Using a cutting machine or craft knife, cut various sized oval frames.
  2. Apply frames to Plastic Craft Sheet
  3. Fill the framed ovals with blue and green Gallery Glass paints. 
  4. Use the pick to pull paint to the edge of the leading and swirl colors together.
  5. Let dry completely.
  6. Cut out plastic around the ovals and punch a small hole in one end of each.

Assemble the Mobile:

  1. Drill evenly spaced holes into the wood dowel.
  2. Cut different lengths of gold thread.
  3. Attach one end of each line to an oval and the other end through the holes in the dowel. Secure with knots.

Hang Your Mobile:

  1. Use additional gold thread to hang the mobile from the ceiling or a hook.
