- Paper towels
- Water cup for rinsing brushes
- Small wood block
Instructions:
- Use a wide brush from the FolkArt Paintbrush Set to apply a basecoat of Patina on the 10" x 10" canvas panel. Allow it to dry completely.
- Paint roses on blue with loose strokes. See image for placement.
- Use Classic Green for the leaves.
- Use Baby Pink and Bright Pink to paint the petals of the Rose Layered Shape, creating a gradient effect.
- Highlight the edges with Wicker White for added dimension.
- Allow the paint to dry thoroughly.
- Once both pieces are dry, position the painted rose shape onto the canvas panel.
- Use a strong adhesive to attach the small wood block securely to the center of the canvas, then attach the rose to the wood block.
- Consider adding a subtle pattern or design in Wicker White on the Patina basecoat for extra flair.
- Allow the entire piece to dry thoroughly before hanging.
- Hang your completed rose wall hanging in a place where it can be admired by all!
