Other Things You'll Need

  • Assorted Vintage Christmas Cards- Color Copies 
  • Aleenes Tacky Glue 
  • Large Wood Bow  
  • Large Wood Circle 
  • 2- 2 x 2 wood blocks 
  • Jute cord 
  • Scissors 
  • Assorted Christmas greenery

Instructions

  1. Basecoat large circle- front , back and edges with FolkArt Parchment.  Let dry.
  2. Basecoat wood bow with Apple Red and let dry.
  3. Mixing a small amount of Black with Apple Red to create darker shades of red.  Paint bow as shown in photo.  Let dry.
  4. Paint wood tag as shown.  Let dry and personalize with favorite holiday word.
  5. Following basic instructions on Mod Podge.  Apply vintage Christmas cards as shown, completely covering the large circle.  Let dry.
  6. Glue 2 small wood blocks to back of bow and then to circle as shown.  Let dry.
  7. Arrange Christmas greenery as shown, behind wood bow. 
  8. Add jute to wood tag and Glue tag to circle as shown.
