Turn a simple silver tray into a chalkboard treasure.

  • Flat brush #12
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Chalk
  • Paper towels
  • Foam plates
  • Water basin

Instructions

  1. 1. Wipe trays with rubbing alcohol to remove any residue. 
  2. Apply chalkboard paint to centers of tray. Let dry referring to bottle instructions for cure time. 
  3. Apply second coat and let dry. 
  4. Condition surface of chalkboard by rubbing side of chalk over surface. Wipe with paper towel. 
Project Tip: Paint entire tray with FolkArt® Home Décor Chalk Paint and sand before applying chalkboard paint to center for a different look.
